Try to solve 1600-1800 problems as fast as you can, apply all things you learned from it into contests then one day you will claim your dream result
It seems to me that there are problems that I cannot solve even through a tutorial. How to choose problems so that I can solve them?
Just solve 1400-1600 every day. If you can't come up with a solution to the problem in 15 minutes, or if you've been trying to complete the task for 30 minutes and don't get AC, start reading the tutorial. Solve div3 and div4 virtually 1-2 times a week.
It seems to me that there are problems that I cannot solve even through a tutorial. How to choose problems so that I can solve them?
Solve only 1400 at first. You can go to the problemset and set a filter for problems with a difficulty of 1400. Then sort by the number of those who solved in descending order. Start solving the ones that the most people have solved. The more people have solved the problem, the greater the chance that it will be simple and you will be able to solve it. But there are exceptions, such problems can be skipped (for example, for me, it can be very difficult to solve math and dp problems, even if many people have solved it). You should understand that if your rating is 1400, it does not mean that you can solve any problem with such difficulty, it means that you can solve 60-80% of problems of such difficulty. After you solve 100-150 1400 tasks, go to 1500 and do the same.
Hello , Can you give me some suggestions to practice to get myself around 1400 ? I using , this method : sorted the latest problem upto max 1200 rating , and solving it ,will it work or I should solved by descending the highets number of submissions?
Pls suggest!
I think you should do what I wrote above, but start from 1200 to 1400.
https://www.tle-eliminators.com/cp-sheet is this sheet is best?
He has solve more problems than me, maybe his problem is in contest time, try to focus in the problem that you are actually solving, if you dont't come up with any idea, try another problem and don't give up till the end. Remember don't worry to much about the rating during contest, I hope this can help you.
Bro your graph is dope
I barely became an expert and started giving out advice, like sigma

If u need an honest advice, try abusing div3
Can confirm , abused last div3 to become expert
what do you mean by abusing div3?
Also, quality > quantity. U solved too many easy problems

I am not an expert but I'm practicing like you and my method is: solve problems with a rating of 1700-1900. you can go on the problemset and sort all 1700-1900 problems by number of solves and start solving from the top. try solving them like when you are in a contest but if after 1 hour you can't read just one line of tutorial or one of the hints.
Be sure that with this method you will soon become an expert. Believe in yourself.
Well i am newbie but i recommend this blog.
brooo ur too noob to be a higher rank loool get on my level dumbhead
Sorry but getting on your level would mean having an negative iq and i was born with a positive one
Leave hope bro, you are never going to become one... just forget about it and learn something meaningful in life... at the end IQ just saturates.... OR if you want it so badly, then you wouldn't have been asking here, instead read any random blog (says same shit of solving 200+- rating problems) you would easily become by dedicating every distraction/excuse you have in life...
My personal suggestion:
- Practice problems consistently. Read editorial only when your mind goes blank and you can't come up with any approach. If you gave enough though to a problem and came close to the solution but ultimately couldn't solve it, it will still benefit you more than if you just read the editorial after some amount of time. The purpose of solving a problem is not just learning how to solve that particular problem, but learning how to approach similar problems in future and improving your thought process.
- If you have a friend who is better than you in competitive programming then participate in group contests with him. This way you will not only practice problems but also understand the thought process of someone who is better than you.
- Participate in as many live contests as possible. Don't be scared of losing rating. I reached expert after 220 contests. If you try your best then you will get there sooner or later.
- You can follow this youtube channel of galen_colin. He shared many tips regarding how to practice problems which I found very interesting and helpful.
constantly pray
this morning i woke up today in this morning in the morning i woke up this morning i woke up and remember that every morning that i wake up i wo- i woke up that fcking day just to remember that
Solve ABC in Div-2 rounds and ABCDE in Div-3 rounds, good luck!
Link This might help you. :)
Other than the obvious tips about practice, an underrated tip is work on your speed, speed is really important in cf rounds. but it all really just boils down to practicing on problems that are as hard as you can solve.
do every div 2-3 contests
