No offense, but set your expectations a little lower. You need to be seriously special for one of those two universities(they are literally the best in the world).

Nah. 99.9% of people aren't remarkable in any way. They have differences, sure, but only .1% have some sort of exceptional talent imo. That doesn't mean that you can't still enjoy life tho.

Anything up to 1899 rating takes hard work imo (and not being mentally disabled). To go up any further you need to be at least somewhat talented.
1900-2099 = somewhat talented
2100-2399 = talented
2400+ = very talented
In competitive programming, talent is pretty much synonymous with IQ.
Why do you think person can't learn to solve 1900+ rated problems if he's already learnt how to solve 1600-1800?
Well as the problems get harder and harder, the person without any talent is less and less likely to solve them. I think that if you took someone with a 100 IQ and made them solve hundreds of codeforces problems, they would end up being mid expert. They can maybe become CM but they'd have to work insanely hard. It is mostly conjecture though.
But that doesn't explain anything
In my opinion, an average IQ can train to consistently do 1600 problems since they aren't super hard but not 1900 problems since they are pretty hard.
Edit: Ik it doesn't explain anything but you're gonna have to trust me on this one.
My position comes from the fact that human brain is capable of learning new skills and adapting to new environment. You are basically defying this fact, stating that in some instances human brain does not work like that and some people can't even theoretically learn certain skills. If you say that, you gotta bring up some legit arguments as your postion is quite radical. Rephrasing your words is just not enough for that.
Human brains can learn new skills but some are faster than others. What if it takes you 5 hours to accomplish what someone else can accomplish in one? What if it takes you 10? 20? 50?
Well, since skill as a function of hours practiced is usually logarithmic, eventually it will take you countless hours to keep up with someone who is just more talented than you. You can see this by just graphing y = log(x) and y = 2log(x) on desmos.
Eventually, after so many hours, you are bashing your head against the wall hoping for improvement. But improvement won't come so easily since you are far down the logarithmic curve. Maybe after so so so many hours, an average IQ can reach red, but that might be comparable to log(x) reaching 100. It just isn't feasible.
Dude, where did you get logarithmic stuff from?
I disagree with this, I believe you can get up to master without being talented, div2s are just way too standard and if you solve enough problems you will be able to perform well consistently since many problems will look familiar to you.
I won't comment on how difficult is to get any further since I haven't reached such ratings.

if you are talking about engineering. university doesn't matter in long run because either you end up doing competitive programming, hackathons or building startup.
