I know most people who are lgm's and gm's here started coding as far back as +/-2008 to +/-2010 which has got me wondering, how did most of you learn C++ back then considering the fact that not many recourses were on the internet back then as compared to now where one can learn almost anything on the internet... I'm curious.

I know absolutely nothing about geometry not even how to calculate the area of a circle or rectangle, or what a parallelogram is, nothing at all!!! But I'd like to learn. Most of the books I've been reading just don't cut it for me. Although I know algebra 1 pretty well. Anyone with good book recommendations or suggestions that would get me up and running should kind let me know.
