Agreed that it's unfortunate, but it's a global contest, so it can't be perfect for everybody unfortunately. In general it seems least bad to put night over the Pacific ocean. It's a bit late for China and a bit early for Pacific coast of the US, but ultimately it's not totally unbearable for anybody...
Agree! If we need to race the contest, we must sleep later. And we will feel listless the next day.
