Codeforces common standing and friend's standing ranks not matching.

My friend's standing and common standing ranks are not the same. Is it just me or is the same happening with others as well?

My common standing rank for round #786 is 233 while friend's standing ranking is 377.

Your common standing rank that you're seeing is most likely the "trusted participant only" standing table, which doesn't count the untrusted participants.

In the announcement blog, it does mention the condition you need to qualify as a trusted participant (you can read it yourself), and you satisfy all of them, so you are one. But many others who don't (such as unrated participants) aren't, so they are not in the trusted participant standing.

At the friend's standing table, however, the untrusted participant who has a rating below 1600 is still rated so it STILL counts, so around 150 of them did better than you but they are untrusted, so it shows 395 as you can see. The same happens with others.
