FBI's blog

By FBI, history, 2 years ago, In English

Since 12.07.2021 I have been solving at least 1 problem a day,and now I don't know if I should keep going up until 730 days,or just give up?

A better question. Do you feel it like a chore or a job? If yes, I think you should take a break.

From 1050 to 1756 in one year, that's insane. Keep going, hope you will be at least master next year

Impressive outcome! Out of interest:

  1. How do you select which problem to solve?

  2. How often do you read editorials for the chosen problems?

  3. Do you spend more time on a problem after solving it? (Reading the editorial, thinking about different approaches, checking out other solutions,...)

1.I search for some interesting problems among those that my friends are solving 2.I don't really understand the question 3.no,I forget about the problem after solving it,I just remember the method. About editorials/solutions- only if I don't know how to solve this problem

I asked how much time you try to spend on a problem before seeing the editorial. But I think you already answered it.

      Thanks, appreciate it!

Nice, I have been doing this for six months. My streak broke for several times, but continued coding. You are my inspiration

Give it a rest, buddy. Sometimes it is better to chill out from everyday routine. Solving problems with ~1000 difficulty just for maintaining streak is pointless, just enjoy the life.

maybe you need to try some harder problems(like my friend PenPineappleApplePen)

It's quite pointless to solve 1000+ problems rated <1200, I suggest you to start solving 1-3 hard problems (1800-2400) every day, it's way better for your CP career.

Stop doing so much too easy or too hard problem. You should Step out of your comfort zone. By the way, you may need to learn some algorithm. But don't learn useless algorithm such as link-cut-tree and so on.

hey, man. In your profile it is showing that, you have a max streak of 144 days. Then why you are telling that you have coded simultaneously 366 days. You have missed streak for a few time, thus you have a max streak of 144 days.

Take a break bro. You must be having fatigue and performing low. Honestly, nobody cares about your streak. Just take a break for 1-2 days and practice again.
