I think its good idea to make the sites unavailable for beginners if there is too much load on the site. Atleast other can enjoy the contests this way.

Does anyone know if the Chinese servers also went down? I know Leetcode CN is separated from Leetcode but is still accounted for in ratings.

Will it still be rated ? For most of the contest period, the lc website was showing rate limited and couldn't even read statements. I hope round is declared unrated, however yes problems were of high quality
