Hello, friends!

Still i am not able to solve in div2 a,b ,, div3 a,b and div4 c,d.

Also, when I solve a problem like 900-1000 rated, I have to also struggle it and too much time need for approaching the problem solution, even don't came the idea.

Now, what can i do now>>?

You solve problems of mix type of levels around 800-1500. And you even solve 2 questions minimum in Div 2s, so your rating must be around 1300 (PUPIL) by time.

The reason is pretty obvious, it is that you solve problems late in contests, u take time to solve them right?

So, instead of going any higher than 1500 rated problems for now, work more on your solving skills, implementation work, and get your grip on problem around 1400s, once you solve problems faster, you think your implementation has gotten stronger, u go for higher problems.

Just checked your profile on Visualizer. You do only 800 and 900 rated question. You should get started with 1000 rated questions ones you are comfortable with 900 rated ones. And like this gradually increase the ratings of questions you attempt.

I guess you should stick with 900 rated questions until you are able to do 60% of them without seeing solution. Sort the questions on the bases of submissions and then do it linearly.

If you are not able to think of an approach for like 10-15 minutes, then you can go checkout the solution.

You can also start doing on leetcode, it will help you get strong with your DSA fundamentals.

First filter out the questions based on rating. Click the submission tag, it will sort in descending order of total submissions, then start doing it linearly. The question with most submission means it's not a very old question and is comparatively easy for that particular rating

You first should be good at using basics well when you learn the basics you should practice on what you have learned there is a good sheet for basics you can start with click here it will help you to know well about loops and string and array and more of good things to start with. when you finish the basics try to learn more topics like STL it will help you to change your thinking way because you will be able to use new data structures and more valuable things.

U just have to be consistent, I started CF seriously about 4 months from now and turned newbie to specialist.

You are getting stuck on 800-900 problems, reason is you don't know various methods of solving that problem. I mean you solve problems but don't see any other methods for the same problem.

What you can do now is that whenever you solve a problem you think of 2-3 ways yourself and implement it. Then u check other 2-3 solutions who have done it in less complexity as well as less lines of code.

In this way, you will get different algos in your mind and yipps then. Even if u see my graph, problems that i have solved other than contests are around 800-1100 only, but in contests I solve problems of even 1400-1600.

So work on different different methods for now, then go for DS algos. Improvement will come with consistency. GO FOR IT

Yes, just try to solve the problem first, start with brute force then optimize it to the extent you can do it... Then go for other's solution to get more optimized solution with unique methods.

        Yes, Euler project is good.

I also find just doing regular math problems (pencil and paper) helps as well, for example Alcumus has a large amount of pencil and paper problems that require some problem solving.

Bro rating should follow your practice; if you can solve a 1600 problem out of contest you can easily solve a 1400 in contest in time. So try to slowly increase the rating of the practice problems you do. Screenshot-2023-04-14-at-12-54-20-PM See , this is the distribution of the questions that you have solved and you are expecting something phenomenal to happen.
