I want to know what is rating and what is contribution????? And what does it mean----Rating: 1255 Contribution: -34...... And also I have participied in CODERSTRIKE raund 1. and I solved 2 problems at that contest. before the contest my rating was 1285 after that contest My rating became 1255. DId my rating get worse? WHY??????

even I solved 2 problems at CODERSTRIKE ROUND 1 my rating has decreased again... why??

    Your rating depends on your rank in a contest. To maintain pupil status you need to solve at least 2 problems in a regular CF round. But since the last round was easier than the rest you should have solved 3.

    Also the speed of coding these 2 problems is important factor , many people solved the same problems as ou but since they were faster they had better rank than you

The negative contribution value comes from writing annoying and badly researched questions like these. Maybe try to avoid those in the future and read the documentation instead.
