I can only solve 3 problems in Div.2 all the time. I leant dp, trees and graphs, but I still can't solve Div.2 D by myself. Because of that, I can't get higher rating. Can anybody help me? I am stuck at 1600 ~ 1700.

I also have this problem, always solve Div 2 ABC but never D in contest. Would be nice to know how to conquer this issue.

how you guys solved the issue of solving problem C
1) Do not make your goal high rating, that only makes you nervous during contests and makes you slower. Even when you do good during the certain contest, if your goal is high rating you might think: "oh I probably can't solve D now since it has only 300 solves but it is good enough since I solved a,b,c quick and I am getting a good place" 2) Don't make yourself believe that D is hard and you can't solve it. You can! mostly first 4 problems in div2 just require you to notice some things about the problem, it does not require hard or complicated algorithms. In my opinion if you view D as a normal, medium problem and do not concentrate on how many solves it has during the contest, you will have a better chance of solving it. TBH in beggining stages of my expert I also viewed D as a hard problem and usually when I got to it in the contest I kept on thinking, but in the back of my head I always had a thought that it probably is quite hard, that thought made it very hard to solve D, because of that I usually overcomplicated it and could not solve in the end. Overall, I belive that you should not care about rating and you should just view each new problem as a challange which you can solve, regardless of how many solves it has from other participants(if it has few solves it does not mean that you can't solve it!). I have checked ur submissions in the past 2 years.
U havn't solved any problems higher than 2400(even higher than 2200). I guess u r on the wrong way of cp. ez problems can't be helpful to improving rating. If u don't know what I mean, plz see the details of u r rating changes and u will know why u can't make any progress.
practicing problems >=2400 is not necessary for solving div-2 D , see the % of problems with R >=2400 in div-2 Ds in past 1 year

there can be a huge argument but I don't wanna argue , but if you think in terms of a big sample size instead of only you even you can't guarantee that most of the people will succeed following your strategy , for most people it's always trying to pursue the next step , not 2-3 steps higher

I dont think i deserve to give some suggestion to you but i think you need to work on your (1300-1500) rating problems because these problems teaches a lot
