I hope you'll become expert as a result of your past time with studying. nobody ' s work is fruitless.
I suppose you have sufficient knowledge of your programming language now. Study algorithms, then. CF isn't a "know your language" contest site (except the 1st April rounds :D), but it's for algorithmic programming.
Today I became expert!!! But it took almost 2 years:-(
