List of selected teams for Asia-West Final Contest is available here.
However, it seems that only 1 team per institute is selected for the contest unlike last year where 1 team per institute per regional was selected. Similar thing happened probably in 2021 as well but later multiple teams from same institute were allowed after multiple requests were sent to the regional contest directors.
Hence, if we all request the RCDs via email, we can hope for the change in the selection criteria. More the number of requests, more likely the chances of the change to occur.

Agreed, even if they are selecting 1 team per institute, on what basis are they selecting exactly? The selection criteria doesn't seem to be transparent.
The current criteria is very vague as you cant compare 2 different teams based on 2 different regionals. They should change it and make it like last year allowing 1 team(per college) per regional. I urge everyone affected by this to mail the respected RCDs and authorities.
Yeah seems weird they changed the criteria, since the comparison between (say) ranks 2/3 and 3/4 across different regionals makes no sense. Have emailed them, if someone gets a reply, do inform here.
It makes no sense to have one team per college policy for Asia West, unlike prelims where there is the possibility of cheating within a college.
Since World finals has a single team per college policy, it needs to be implemented at some point and the only sensible way to do this is by taking only one team per college from each regional for Asia West, just like last year.

Yes, they will discuss in the next AWC meeting of RCDs and hopefully will decide by next week.
