Why am i ranked lower than people who solved less problems in DIV3 929

In the previous contest DIV3 929 i started the contest about 40 min late i managed to solved A-B-C but was stuck on D in the final standing i was ranked lower than people who solved only 2 problems

after the contest my ranking was (11520) BadlyBadCoder 3 195 with this penalty my ranking should be around 9500 can someone explain why am i ranked like 2000 lower ?

Because it is CF. Here one might solve a problem with 3k difficulty and get score less than others who "speedforced" A+B.

I think you are mistaken because a round with extended ICPC format will always ranks the one who solves more problems higher

So it's not possible for someone who solves 2 problems to be higher in ranking than someone who solves 3 problems (Unless there was a bug or something)

    There is no bug. He was placed 12710th while the highest solved 2 problems was 13360th.

      my actual rank is 11520 you can see it in my profile -> contests , i think you are looking at the unofficial ranking
