Hey! Wanted to bring to you all the Second MathDash Olympiad Contest!

The contest features proof-based problems where you must solve and prove each question. The last three problems are as difficult as those found in standard math olympiads, such as the International Math Olympiad (IMO).

The question point values are $$$500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000$$$. Your score for each problem is calculated as

$$$\text{round}\left(\text{point value} \cdot \dfrac{\text{your score out of 7}}{7}\right)$$$.

Each problem has its own time limit, and you can attempt as many or as few problems as you like. Your overall score is the sum of the points you earn from the problems you attempt. You can attempt the problems at any time — even on different days!

Problems:

Problem 1 (30 min): Problem 1

Problem 2 (30 min): Problem 2

Problem 3 (45 min): Problem 3

Problem 4 (45 min): Problem 4

Problem 5 (1 hour): Problem 5

Problem 6 (1 hour): Problem 6

Problem 7 (1.5 hours): Problem 7

Problem 8 (1.5 hours): Problem 8

This is a rated contest, and only the problems you open will affect your rating. Your rating depends on your score, your current rating, and the problem's rating (determined by solvers' ratings).

Submissions will be graded ASAP, likely after the round. You can resubmit if your submission is graded during the contest.

You can dispute scores in the post-contest discussion chat. Grading is at our discretion.

Good luck and happy solving!

The first Olympiad, if you are interested, can be found here: Olympiad 1

Think of this as a Codeforces Global Round — but for Math :)

We hope you enjoy the problems!
