Hi Codeforces,

Before downvoting this post, please take a moment to read this.

I'm using Google Chrome (on a Mac). Today, when I tried to look at a submission after locking it during the contest, I tried to double click on a cell, but double clicking didn't work. Similarly, double clicking doesn't work for me while viewing the results of past contests. Can anyone explain the issue? Thanks!

UPD 1: I tried viewing contest standings in incognito mode, and it actually worked! However, non-incognito still doesn't work. Thanks bboy_drain for his suggestion!

UPD 2: Issue is now resolved. RetiredAmrMahmoud suggested that I remove cookies from my browser. It actually worked, thank you very much!

Hi waterfall ,

There are many cases to why this issue is happening.

1: When you double click, the submission wheel keeps turning This that your internet was not responding, you might want to try to restart your router or if your using ethernet, try replugging in the cable.

2: When you double click, nothing shows up (during the contest) The only reason why this would happen is if you actually did not lock your submission, there could be no other reason.

My suggestion is to try to open up an incognito tab and try viewing submissions and clean up any viruses or malware that might be affecting your computer. Chances are that they block your access to viewing external pages.

This is all I can think of. Have fun.

UPD: I have having the same issue now. Does anyone else know the reason to this?

UPD2: Opening up an incognito window seems to do the trick. However this double clicking thing seems to work on a non-incognito tab for a while and then it will fail later on. I am still trying to figure out why.

Could you explain how you did this? I'm not very familiar with cookies of any sort.

    Thanks for your help.

        Hi RetiredAmrMahmoud ,

Thanks it seems to work perfectly now. I was wondering about something related to this topic. Is this also the reason why I can upload You-Tube videos in an incognito tab but not a non — incognito tab?

I'm not sure about this one but if you can do something in incognito mode and you can't do it in non-incognito it's clearly because of cookies.

http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cookies shows you how to clear cookies in Google Chrome.

By the way, thank you RetiredAmrMahmoud for your suggestion. It actually worked on non-incognito Google Chrome! Thank you so much for your help!
