Sorry but I can't stand that bold HackerRank T Shirts.

I placed in top 10 3 times yet received the prize only once. I used to think Indian contest organizers never sent away the prizes they were supposed to do (there was a time when I won some money, they even emailed me for my contact and bank account details). Then the first time I got a t-shirt from HackerRank (which was delivered quite fast after the contest), my lost faith was restored a bit.

But now, it has gone from bad to worse.

Hackerrank is not so bad in giving prizes. At least, I wrote a complaint and they solved the issue fast. But Codechef never sends a t-shirt for me. I have won 2 t-shirts and have written to them 3 times and I still haven't received a t-shirt :D Therefore, I agree that the fact about Indian contests and prizes is true generally.

Same here, i received all the hackerrank t-shirts but still did not received couple of from codechef.

For codechef, each prize mail includes "contact us if you have any prizes which did not received" but i never managed get respond from codechef :(.

I think they are just sending mails automatically and that's it :)

I already mentioned it in the other thread and mailed [email protected] about it (I know it's been read, I have mail tracking): it overlaps again, with COCI this time. In fact, Hackerrank contests overlap so much that it has to be intentional.

    Hi Xellos,

extremely sorry about this. We assure you that it was never intentional. We will try our best to make sure that the contest doesn't not clash going forward. We have a list of problem setter whose opinion we ask before we set a time for a given contest, COCI was missed out.

It was never intentional. Infact, you can see that we are not clashing any more with SRMs for the past 2-3 months.
