determinism's blog

By determinism, 10 years ago, In English

I can't really understand this community. I've just asked help for something that I didn't understand. I would happily help someone if I knew where the mistake was. It was neither spam nor trolling. Can someone explain me why I've got all these downvotes? Is there a general criteria about posts that I need to obey?

You should have explain your solution.Code isn't short and problem isn't easy so it takes a lot of time for interpretation. Also many people need help and such blogs are boring :)

Well, firstly I think, such posts must have relative name were it is clear that you need help for solving problem. Secondly, do not put your code in the post, use paste.ubuntu.com or pastebin.com. Finally, it would be better if you ask for help in comments of editorial.

I think meta-jokes (those that are self-referential) get the most upvotes

I agree, with all my heart. There's something wrong with this community's sense of humor.
