Help with dp in 112 div 2 E

can anybody please How dp is used in question no 112 div 2 E http://codeforces.com/contest/165/problem/E I tried to understand the approach mentioned in the round blog , I could not understand that . there is no editorial of this round upto .

But it is in russian only for some reason. Try using google translate.
