We are discussing with Challenge 24 organisers and also looking at other possible dates. If 1st July doesn't work, the next likely dates seem to be 8th July. We will announce in a week's time the final dates.

UPD: The finals will be on 8th July — https://www.codechef.com/snackdown/2017

UPD 2: Seeing that the Challenge24 dates have been changed, we have reverted back our dates of SnackDown finals back to 1st July. There have been requests from a few teams that said that they had made plans on the 8th of July and they could not have participated. We are happy now everyone can participate.

We thought through various options. There are exams earlier and very little time left later.

Considering that this is ICPC world finals, it will need very little time for the ICPC finalists to qualify. The Qualification round is usually easy, it needs only one problem to be solved to move to the next round. And considering this, we have added one more day to the contest. Hope this works.

Are rules of the competition published somewhere? The most interesting part is the number of advancers from each round.

They will be published but I don't think they will be much different from last year's rules. You can find Snackdown 2016 rules here

Where are editorials of the finals of 2016 contest. I remember setters/testers explaining solutions through some pdf during the finals conclusion. Can someone share that pdf?
