I've been trying to raise my contribution ever since I registered. I'm just wondering what the meaning of contribution is, and one more thing: Would you gain contributions by having good comments or blogs?

I'm not sure whether it's comments or blogs, that's really what I'm wondering about...
contribution is base on both blogs and comments, though upvote/downvote in blogs are more significant than upvote/downvote in comments. I have been told that 1 blog upvote/downvote is ~5 comment upvote/downvote, but I might be wrong.
