Radewoosh's blog

By Radewoosh, history, 6 weeks ago, In English,

Hello codeforces! I want to share my idea with you.

I've noticed that I know some nice tricks and some tasks with very educative solutions, which might be interesting, surprising or useful in other tasks. Recently I am considering starting my own blog, where I'd share chosen tasks with you and write about possible ways to solve them. I wanted to ask the community about it, cause I don't want you to hate this idea and write comments like "boooo, we already have Petr's blog, you are just copying his idea, you just want contribution, you are next Swistakk, go away".

What do you think about this idea? I'd be able to change form of this blog as you wish and add additional sections. Should I write such blogs?

I can not even think of a reason for saying no to this idea of yours. :)

Please go ahead and do it. I just have one request.

Please do make sure that they appeal to people of Div 2 coders too and can be understood by them.

Please don't insult my friend Swistakk . He doesn't do it for contribution. He enjoys helping people.

And Yes, I will also love to read your blog. :)

Well according to me It would be great if you write the blog with the help of any problem and tell us a approach different than editorial(If you have different approach), and also like a generalised approach for particular kind of problem...fingers crossed(Bring it on).

True, we have Petr's blog, now we would get double the content :)

Lol. It is really kind IF you really are willing to share your knowledge. But, I doubt that many red coders (especially nutella ones) have the patience and time to write detailed blogs teaching others about what seem trivial to themselves. Of course, I am not doubting your resolve, but I have the impression that the level of helpfulness is inversely related to rating here in CF.

I hope that you also would learn some nice techniques, but as we are friends you probably already know many of my tricks. Main purpose is that for me it's bad that so rarely I have an opportunity to see some nice task or trick and say "Wow, it's so nice that now I know it, it'll be definitely helpful.", so I want to make such opportunities for everybody. I guess that I'll aim at div. 1 contestants, so I don't want to cover known techniques, but of course everybody will be able to read blogs and learn.

"boooo, we already have Petr's blog, you are just copying his idea, you just want contribution, you are next Swistakk, go away".

Lol. Nobody would say anything like this. The more blogs we have, and the more knowledge we produce the better !

I have always noticed your code is very elegant but sometimes don't understand things because the variables appear to be named in a different language.

I hope you start a blog soon. I look forward to reading it. I wish you much prosperity.

May God bless you.

LMAO. If you consider very short and unreadable code to be "elegant", you should be playing code golf and not CP.

I agree that the OP is very smart but I cannot agree on the point of elegant code style.
