    Yes that was a mistake which has been rectified quickly and the contest has been extended by 7 minutes.

    Well the benefits depends on what you are looking for. In terms of learning, competing and having fun we would like to believe they are. In terms of money, they may not be much. Only the Long Contests have cash prizes.
