So I just did a Division 2 contest (todays), and I managed to only do one question and was #13000+. Since it was my first ever contest, I checked if my rating changed and it didn't. Does this mean I did so bad that they couldn't give me a rating or do I have to wait a few hours? Also does anyone know if I should continue doing Div. 2 contests since those are the only ones I see registerable atm, or should I just wait for Div. 3 contests since I can barely answer one question on Division 2? Any answers or help will be appreciated thanks!

Ratings are not recalculated immediately (especially for educational rounds like this one, as they have a 12-hour open hacking phase). I cannot give useful advice for the "Div. 2 or Div. 3" part, though.

If you genuinely feel a division 2 contest is too much for you now, you can skip them. Also the second problem in this contest (problem B) was more difficult than it usually is. So I suggest giving another division 2 contest before deciding whether or not to skip them. Even if you decide against giving division 2 contests I suggest participating in one occasionally to get a feel for how much progress you've made.

Also since you've only just started with competitive programming, don't be too worried about your performance in contests or your rating, only focus on practicing and getting better.
