Hogwarts.dropout's blog

By Hogwarts.dropout, history, 3 years ago, In English

I know i will be getting highly downvoted for writing this , but i will still write this up because i really wanna put forward my point . I know sus is getting tremendous support for his anime blogs but i think the way sus blogs are getting upvoted its replacing some more important blogs from the recent action post like blogs telling about some other platform contest announcements or some Cf users sharing there approaches for a problem or explaining a tough topic . I therefore request everyone to stop this as some other blogs are getting affected a lot which are really useful (atleast for me who have started cp just now ). Thanks for reading this up and have fun doing CP.

I agree all of your words in this blog except the first sentence I know i will be getting highly downvoted for writing this. The blog really speaks the voice of many people and I think it's worth upvoting. So, upvoted :)

cf just need to divide blogs into two (maybe more in the future) sections.

Like memes, educational and announcement blogs.

Hi, alt of 1-gon!

Don't worry, you won't be losing your number 1 spot anytime soon (I think).

U r gonna come back stronger soon, u r either monogon or one of the top 10's who is out of the list or one who really think that contribution is a misleading term, I upvoted u assuming the third

CF blog system is shit. More at 7.

Until there is a serious attempt to fix this perpetual problem from the CF team, you will have to come to terms with the existence of posts you don't care about.

I mean.. the guy got upvotes by writing out actual nonsense. He actually made "anime versions of top programmers" and some people upvoted him. I wonder what the top programmers would say about it now...

      • I don't think it's reasonable to call something bullshit just because it doesn't interest you.
      • There are quite some people who find his posts entertaining, thus it's just a matter of demand and supply.
      • The majority of top programmers probably don't care about it at all.
      • You seem to pay to much attention to all this contribution thing. I don't even have the "Top contributors" displayed on my sidebar. If you're here to solve problems, go solve problems. If you want to increase your contribution, go figure out what your selling point is.

You are absolutely right. They will do bullshit like this then whine about being grey for 10 years.

People who think his blogs are funny are the same people that get excited over a bunch of card magic tricks

I think there is nothing wring with fun blogs like this. Imo cf should not be 100% educational, there should be some fun blogs too.

It's especially obvious when it's done solely for contribution.
