Hello Codeforces!

We, the disciples of Omkar (qlf9, Tlatoani, MagentaCobra, golions, and Omkar's newest disciple, rabaiBomkarBittalBang), have written our third contest: Codeforces Round 724 (Div. 2)Omkar 3. It will be held on Jun/06/2021 17:35 (Moscow time) and will be rated for users in Division 2 (rating lower than 2100). As usual participants with rating >= 2100 are allowed to compete too, but the contest will be unrated for them.

You will be given 2 hours to solve 6 problems. There may or may not be an interactive problem, so it would behoove you to read the guide for interactive problems. There also may or may not be competitive programming problems, so you should be sure to thoroughly understand everything here.

Hello Codeforces!

On Jun/04/2021 17:35 (Moscow time) Educational Codeforces Round 110 (Rated for Div. 2) will start.

Series of Educational Rounds continue being held as Harbour.Space University initiative! You can read the details about the cooperation between Harbour.Space University and Codeforces in the blog post.

This round will be rated for the participants with rating lower than 2100. It will be held on extended ICPC rules. The penalty for each incorrect submission until the submission with a full solution is 10 minutes. After the end of the contest you will have 12 hours to hack any solution you want. You will have access to copy any solution and test it locally.

You will be given 6 or 7 problems and 2 hours to solve them.

The problems were invented and prepared by Roman Roms Glazov, Adilbek adedalic Dalabaev, Vladimir vovuh Petrov, Ivan BledDest Androsov, Maksim Neon Mescheryakov and me. Also huge thanks to Mike MikeMirzayanov Mirzayanov for great systems Polygon and Codeforces.

We invite you to participate in the ICPC Challenge powered by Huawei that will run from 12pm CST May 26 — 12pm CST May 30, 2021. The Challenge problem is based on a real-world industrial topic, providing participants the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge technologies, and is open to the global community.

Join Challenge

The Challenge problem will be given in a pure graph-theory form and is part of an algorithm for compiler/runtime co-operative optimizations crucial for high throughput of Big Data analysis frameworks running on multi-node clusters.

Technical support during the Challenge will be offered throughout the duration of the Marathon. The technical team will be reading all comments/questions and will be providing answers and support as soon as possible.

Prizes for the top 20 Global Challenge performers are as follows:

Codeforces, welcome!

Registration for the ML competition from Raiffeisenbank that starts on May 17 is now open. The prize fund of the championship is 700,000 rubles. The competition is unrated.

All terms of participation were developed by the Raiffeisenbank eFX trading team in collaboration with Codeforces. Huge thanks to geranazavr555 for the testing and great advice and MikeMirzayanov for Codeforces systems.

Participants are invited to build a predictive model based on the provided historical data.

Cash prizes will be contested only among Russian residents (we expect winning participants to provide descriptions of their solutions in Russian).

Prizes:

  • 1-4 places — 100K rubles each
  • 5-10 places — 50K rubles each
  • 1-60 places — merch packages
