Immortal list of supporters

Most recently, Codeforces has celebrated its 8th birthday — a binary jubilee, the 1000th anniversary! I hope that my idea has worked and the result of the efforts has become an important part of the world of programming contests. I look enthusiastically at the future of the platform and I hope that the Codeforces team will be able to please with innovations, improvements and rounds over and over again.

Friends, we will be glad and grateful to a gift from you, your contribution to the future of Codeforces. Your donations will allow us to move forward and implement ideas. I appeal to all those who are not indifferent to the fate of Codeforces for support.                   Hello dear, I'm Muslim.

                  Generally, we shouldn't construct our concepts on partial knowledges about things and then post that weakly constructed concepts. So, I prefer to say to you that a lot of tons of such problems (or questions) with Islam had been solved (or answered) before, and they are repeatedly published every time, and then they are solved again and again. So, we really should search for those answers to be sure about our concepts, and until that time, we shouldn't share those concepts with others.

                  For the problem that you talked about, Allah says to us like this: do what I say that you have to do and don't do what I say that you have to not do, then you will access the heaven which has things you cannot even imagine them.

                  And among those things, there will be delicious food, dulcet drinks and Al-Hour Al-Eeen.

                  Firstly, Quran didn't say that women will not have men in the heaven, but instead, Quran said that we will have what we want in the heaven.

                  Secondly, how does the concept of Al-Hour Al-Eeen present women as sex objects? don't you know that among the things that Allah warns us from doing it there is dealing with women in carnality and degenerate ways, so we avoid falling in adultery and other bad things, thus we have to deal with the woman from her mind, morals, etc.?

                  In the end, I prefer to summarize the concept:

                  Don't deal with women in carnality ways and you will satisfy your desires in the heaven.

                  (Remember, also women have to not deal with men in that ways, and also, they will be given in the heaven what satisfy their desires).

          hello, I am a software engineer work in a bank. I used to be an ACM-er in university. days of last periods since I am not so busy so I created a new account in codeforces and joined some competitions. I am not smart and I am not hard working,so after several years' of working out, I finally going back to home. I am a bad example ~ So as Thomas Edison says:

      Yes I do have a card. But in China, most cards don't support visa nor paypal. We have some thing else like this called UnionPay. And most people I know don't have a card with these icon on it.

      ps: I'm a high school student, and just reached 16 years old, which is Chinese legal age for bank card. So some of my classmates don't have a card. :P

            No card has Paypal's logo on it, just like it would neither have Alipay's logo or WeChat Pay's logo. Enter your card number in Paypal and they will immediately tell you whether it is supported. This is faster than googling.

      Well in China only people with income have credit cards，and law forbids underage worker，so many student do not have credit card,thus they cannot use paypal easily. Although,some debit cards from some banks seems be able to use on paypal too(but others can't).

        I don't think Paypal will care if a card is a credit card or a debit card. Once UnionPay is supported, a card could be easily used by Paypal.

Mike, great work on the site so far!

Have you considered adding HTTPS support to the site? It's especially useful when you ask people to donate money. With HTTP, it's possible for a man-in-the-middle to replace the link to the donation page, and steal your money. I'm 95% sure that didn't happen in this case, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

HTTPS support would also improve the security of logged in users. It would prevent things like revealing user's passwords and hijacking session cookies.

I talked with Mike, he created an invoice for me but when I try to pay I receive the same error https://imgur.com/a/D4MQk.
Same problem when I try to make a direct payment.

Is there someone who payed via paypal and it worked for you?

Since, I have started doing Codeforces. I just love it. I feel bad sometimes when server goes down or if some contest gets unrated. I don't have that much money to support you guys. But, I always wish Codeforces remains as healthy as ever, and always flourishing. Thanks [user:Mike Mirzayanov] and all the CF team for maintaining such a wonderful thing.

Is there a way for me to donate ? (I'm from Lebanon, I have a credit card that I have used to make payments to foreign websites, including in Europe). But when I choose Visa, Lebanon does not appear in the country list. Also I tried through Yandex, but it says that linking my card doesn't work, also because of my country.

    Visa/MasterCard is the best choice for Koreans, maybe.

    Also, you can use PayPal with your bank account. (Just google it!)

        With a credit card (Mastercard brand), I had no problem to pay via Paypal. I'm using the one created in Republic of Korea. You may contact Paypal to ask detail reason.

When I try to use Visa option through Yandex gateway, I get the following:

Sorry, but we do not currently accept payments from the country where your card was issued. If you have another card, try using it. Or select another payment method.

The card is issued in one of the Nordic countries. Why are these payments not supported?

I have a suggestion. Since the goal amount has already been accomplished, the remaining amount is most probably going to excess funds (which is a good thing)!

But since people will be helping next year as well, so these can be used to give away CF T-Shirts to winners/participants of some rated rounds once in a while which will be better as currently only 2-3 CF contests give away T-shirts an year.
