We have exciting news! Look at the logo. See the changes?
Yes, we are happy to announce our new sponsor and partner – the TON Foundation!
We appreciate their support!
The Open Network (TON) is a fully decentralized layer-1 blockchain designed by Telegram to onboard billions of users. The TON Foundation is aimed to further develop and advance the TON Blockchain and its related products for a mass audience.
Andrew Rogozov, founding member at the TON Foundation, says, "We strongly believe in the idea of competitive programming itself, because it is in the TON Blockchain DNA." The TON Blockchain protocol was designed by Nikolai Durov — who is a two-time ICPC world champion, a three-time IMO gold medalist, a multiple IOI medalist, and a co-founder of Telegram — and other winners of international competitions. Now the TON Blockchain core team consists of winners of blockchain contests held by Telegram.
The TON Foundation has already supported the CodeTON Round 1 earlier in March 2022. More than 22K users were registered, and 12K participants made at least one submission. "Codeforces is an unparalleled platform for developing the programming skills of coders all over the world. We are of one mind with the Codeforces team that such contests reveal a treasury full of talents," adds Andrew Rogozov.
I send rays of gratitude to Telegram and personally to Pavel Durov, who has supported our community for many years. With this help we have come a long way — we have run hundreds of rounds, developed the ecosystem, our community has grown hundreds of times. And we are moving forward! Support from the TON Foundation pleases with its succession.
I'm happy to announce that starting July 2022, we have the option to increase problem writer payouts. Hooray!
- Div. 2: $300;
- Div.1 + Div. 2: $600;
- sponsored round: $900.
In addition, we continue to encourage payments in cryptocurrency. In this case, we pay out +25%. I look forward to new rounds on our platform.

Cool! What about Telegram?
TON is actually Telegram project. Just don't tell the SEC about it!
TON and telegram both are Pavel Durov's projects ))
Thanks!! TON for sponsoring CODEFORCES, world's best competitive programming platform.
Since I have dark theme in Codeforces, it still appears to me as sponsored by Telegram T.T
Well, TON is designed by Telegram (as it says in the blog), so... it's technically not wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How to be a problem writer for Codeforces?
Just buy back codeforces
Round 804 authors received $300?
Does every writer get this amount, or they share it?
Obviously they share it.
Let it be the memory of old logo
The new logo looks cool.
[Great news from codeforces]
Why is the ternary expression (in the picture) written in 3 lines and why are there only 2 colors, of which (surprisingly) "?" and ":” are the highlighting color It also seems that the programmer visualizes code in their head as it would look in the editor before writing it down And it may be just the perspective but the computer screen is either too far or too low Good news btw but what about Telegram
You must be fun at parties...
Toss a TON for the witcher!
Good news, Codeforces sponsored by 1000 Kilogram!
Is it only me or the codeforces logo on the duck's t-shirt is way better than the current one?
¿How long will you be the sponsor?
Writers where is the party
ton will be becoming to strong cryptocurrency :)
Writers get paid more for making rounds meaning people will be more motivated to make them.
Now I have to change the image in my dark mode :( (Congrats btw)
Thanks a ton, TON!
WOW! One more approtunity to improve skills by particiating in contest!
HAHAHahHAhH LOL WHAT WRONG WITH CF COMMUNITY. There is no negative in this comment. There is nothing worth with it wtf
Yes, your comment is dumb (as to refrain to use more harsh language), as much as the blog mentions nothing about the rate of the contests to be published, only thaf the funding of these will be provided by a different enitity. This goes to show what a great reading comprehention you have. Also the last comment is very f-ed up
I hope this makes writers more motivated to further increase the quality of problems :)
does anyone know Nikolai Durov codeforces account ?
He is above the rating :)
Thanks TON - Good job Codeforces !
Expect to meet more good questions!
As a Chinese,I spent 1 hour trying to convert the TON coins I received in codeTON round 1,into RMB,and failed.
Congratulations to Codeforces and TON for this partnership.
Thanks a TON
Has anyone else noticed the algorithm in the picture is the Find function of DSU(Disjoint Set Union)?
How does one go about getting sponsored? Is there a blog detailing how to do so? Or is it simply not possible for non codeforces team members to do so. I’m working on some problems that I will eventually request be put in a later div2 round, so I was just curious if getting sponsored would be a possibility I should consider.
Sponsored rounds are selected by coordinators from available proposals.
Sorry, but What about SortMe team?? They are true sponsors, aren't they??
A new great beginning! Hope codeforces will be better.
It was best and will continue to be in future
Congrats! Codeforces and 1000 kilograms~ TON.
Great! TONs of congratulations to all!
Duck in the image is smart, learning DSU rather than waving his hands :)
How is the process to submit a problem and get the reward?
Here is a moderately up-to-date post with the details.
I want join CodeTON Round 2 now!
