Hello everyone, How does a platform like codeforces or any other similar platform deal with people using chatGPT to solve problems? Are negotiations being made with chatGPT to implement a system to detect problem statements from ongoing contests?

I don’t think it’s that large of a deal really. Chat gpt works for problems like: “make me a JavaScript todo list” or even interview questions like “reverse a BST” but it’s only really good at things that it has already seen. Basically, it is terrible at being original. This makes it terrible at codeforces questions which are each (hopefully) pretty unique. Alphacode by deepmind is specifically trained on things like codeforces, but even then it is only around the strength of a pupil (I believe) and is quite varied, solving some 2200s but failing some 800s. I also don’t think people have access to it ( I might be wrong here). So no I don’t think it’s an issue at the moment. Also if it ever did become an issue, codeforces has systems in place to spot extremely similar solutions and can cross check someone’s solution to an AIs.

Sir recently i have got a problem that i have cheated in a contest but i feel that alll the solutions that the bot has detected would be accurate. Because the solutions are different in a far similar way. The solutions which they have made and which i have made are different . Kindly have a look onto it and rempve plag from mu account
