Hi everyone

IOI17 is soon, have you all been preparing for it? I hope for all of you the best of luck in the competition.

I thought we could do something special this year. So how about we exchange our national olympiads T-shirts at IOI (local ones)? It would be a nice way to collect souvenirs.

If we decide on doing that, we need to know beforehand who's participating to decide what amount of t-shirts to bring.

We don't have local olympiad T shirts in Hungary :( But if anyone's interested, I could bring my XKCD "Compling" T-shirt (https://store.xkcd.com/products/compiling), and maybe get something extra printed on it beforehand to make it more souvenir-worthy? :D

Sure! I'll try to get something printed on it in the next weeks then :D (smth along the lines of "IOI 2017 — greetings from Hungary" I guess)

Hm with that other comment about the Syrian shirts, let's say I'll bring the XKCD shirt and decide about the swap there :D I'm not sure I'm in if I would just end up leaving the Syrian shirt at the bottom of my closet forever, since I actually wear the XKCD one :)

I have been an olympiad student in Syria. I recommend for all not even thinking about exchanging a tshirt with a syrian guy. Tshirts are very cheap and awful, so that I have never wore them except when they force us. and wearing them in the street or university would just make you look like a homeless guy and somebody gave you this tshirt :D BTW I have been using them in the bathroom for drying feet and stuff
