So, one person (we know who) was annually making a poll to choose the best problem of the year. I'd like to see the results of the voting, but there's no poll. Should we wait a bit longer or maybe can someone do such a poll.

I mean someone respectable, like MikeMirzayanov or snarknews.

I feel it will be "The most famous good problem of 2019" rather than the best one. Let's hope the best one wins tho!

This seems rather subjective though. A gray coder will disagree with the opinion of a blue/purple coder, who will, in turn, disagree with the opinion of a red coder, right?

Maybe you should create separate polls, like "best problem of 2019 with difficulty less than 2000", and "best problem of 2019 with difficulty greater than 2000".

Agree. Maybe then best D2A, D2B, ...? Most participants did not even have a chance to read, say, some D1E problem which might be very beautiful indeed. On the other hand, majority of the votes will come from them.

I don't think it should be Codeforces-specific. There are at least many AtCoder/OpenCup problems that should be featured in such a blog.

I don't get your point. That's literally what poll is. Voting on some subjective matter. There's absolutely no reason to vote on something that is not subjective.

Right, I'm still planning to do one, but I'm a bit lacking in free time these days. I'll still try to put it together sooner rather than later :)

Why not make a list of best problems? People would like some good quality problems.
