I noticed four users who have cheated in this Round (Educational Codeforces Round 92) and I want to name them here. I request the Codeforces community to take strict action against them those who degrade the quality of this beautiful platform. With internship season round the corner, Codeforces is often taken as an accountable platform by Companies and these people should be punished.

Their handles are: interview , _krtky_ ,rahul16077 tempcfcfcf

The first observation was the time at which the three users submitted their solutions. All of them submit solutions at almost the same time, thinking it wouldn't be noticed. I attach here a snippet. This is so disgusting.

My proofs don't end here. Look at their submissions. They use very tactful tricks to avoid plagiarism checks, and I request the community here to take strict action on them. Please ban their accounts permanently. Their code snippets are almost the same, they either insert crap code in between to avoid plagiarism check or change the name of variables.

For Problem C: 88327446 88330746 88327679 88327945

For Problem D: 88333742 88335185 88334623 88331925 For Problem E: 88344650 88346718 88345607 88343192

Besides, I would also request the community here to look forwards towards more efficient plagiarism checks. Such rackets will continue to occur if we dont take an action. Codeforces is trusted because people dont cheat here. I hope that accountability is still maintained and strict action is taken against these handles.

I think it happens at all levels (unless it's some world finals), but I believe people really cheat less in Div1 (why any red or above will give his solutions away during the contest) and if somebody cheats, they're smart enough to hide it better.

Do cheaters (especially greens and below) really make you enjoy contests less?

I love solving problems and writing codes.

Do cheaters (especially greens and below) really make you enjoy contests less?
Not really but it will hurt me a bit if I see that my performance has gotten worse when infact my performance is the same but people cheating is making the difference.

Imagine I solve a problem in a div1 contest which you don't, later someone reports me for plagiarism. You suddenly realize it was not just me but many more, won't you feel a little bad?

No, I feel bad when people solve problems legitimately that I don't, because then I deserved to lose.

        Look at it that way:

You have some users below you in standings (and you don't care about them) and you have some users above you (and some of them are cheaters). If you improve, then some of these in the second group will go below you and you'll stop thinking about them. Doesn't it feel motivational?

Is it really so hard for you guys to ignore these cheaters and stop shit-posting after every contest? I am sure these 10 people arent the reason you are still grey/green/blue. I think we should follow our maryada purushottam i.e. modiji and ignore corrupt people.

I actually came across _krtky_'s submission (https://codeforces.com/contest/1389/submission/88335185) organically while trying to hack some submissions, and I was like really confused while reading it.

From the usernames and the variables,it seems that they are Indian. These guys are one of those due to which Indians are seen as cheaters...not everywhere but still some people think like that.

You were probably looking at the unofficial standings before. These standings include the Div1 participants but in the official rankings they are excluded as the round is not rated for them. That's why the drastic change in ranks.

You can exclude them from the standings during the competition too if you don't tick the "show unofficial" checkbox on the top of the standings page.
