pourdam's blog

Hi everyone

My English is not good enough to communicate with other people without any grammar or dictation mistakes ,so for a while I've been looking for a good program to handle this problem beside using google translate.

And suddenly I found ((Ginger's Proofreading)). When I compare this with other tools , it works pretty nice.

There is cool stuff about it , that it has also extensions for Firefox , IE , Safari , Microsoft office suite and chrome ( the last two do not work correctly on my computer.) , although all of them are free !

But pay attention that it needs to connect to the internet to work.

It's really help me, I wish that helps you too :)

I want to introduce Coursera ( for how are not familiar yet) that helps you find some interesting courses , in any field of science , taught by experienced Profs that works like real class. by that I mean it includes :

  • Video Lectures (With several Explanation even about a simplest thing)

  • Any kind of problems ( e.g programming and theory problems)

  • And good discussion forums.

  • Some of these courses give you degree ( statement of accomplishment ) that signed by the instructor.

And most important thing that you got all of these for free.

I take Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 , Analytic Combinatorics, Part I & Games without Chance: Combinatorial Game Theory , and I recommend to you to take them.

Have fun with these courses!
