Hi fellow Codeforcers, Can you help me out at a few things? I am new to competitive programming but I have good grasp in coding in some languages(till bachelors level) as well as maths (till international olympiads level)

So, what I believe is there are three things to it. 1. Solving problem without code fast and correct 2. Code fast and correct

I want to focus on 1 even to the extent of ignoring 2. Are there any textbooks for this? I really don't want to use a computer/code until the very moment I have realised the solution.

I understand 2 is also important but I can see that it could be done seperately from (after) 1.
