The difference between me and expert is practically the same difference between u and CM. If i am able to reach expert, u should be able to reach CM! lol.

          1) look at you current rating

          2) round it up the number to the closest number that % 100 == 0

          3) solve problems of this difficulty

Not that true tbh. One should be able to solve 80% of the problems their rating in less than 30 minutes, maybe even 10-20 minutes sometimes. I don't think you should do problems that you can solve that fast (unless you wanna train your implementation skills). A good range in my opinion would be your rating + 200-500

idk man, 1/3 of the problems of 2100 difficulty seem quite hard to me, and problems + 500 rating seem straight up impossible, I tried to solve a bunch of 2600 in a row, but I wasted so much time that it seemed like it was not worth it at all.

At least from my experience, it seems to me that I have a 50% chance of solving a 2100 problem during a contest, so choosing a difficulty where every second problem is challenging seems to me like a good idea.

I have heard a lot of people saying that a person should solve problems of quite higher difficulty than their current rating, but I believe that if we talking about long-term progress it is worse than solving at/slightly above your level. I can even imagine that solving 100 problems of difficulty (your rating + 300) will take the exact same time as solving 100 problems of your current rating until you reach that +300.

Maybe I am incorrect, but in my experience I only felt like I am making progress when I decided to "stop pretending like I can solve hard problems" and focus on easier ones.

I don't know man. These blue dude at my school can consistently solve 2200 problems in like 1.5 hour when practicing. Maybe they just have poor nerves control, or problems from contests they participated in aren't well tailored to their skillset

There's rating inflation(div 3 2200 is NOT the same as div 1 2200) and it's not so hard to cherry-pick problems. Does he check tags when solving? How many 2200s did he actually solve with no help whatsoever to make this claim. Do you really think many other blues can't solve 2200s within 1.5hrs lol? Contest pressure increases the time taken to solve a problem. Mental block/exhaustion happens. There are easier problems you have to solve before reaching that 2200 problem. It's probably the case that many people that solve 2000s consistently in-contest would be able to solve 2300s(longer time) in practice.

Haha, i must admit the green colour itself is quite dark so it gives off really bad vibes. This light blue colour on the other hand makes me feel much more relaxed.
