Common Preliminary Round for ICPC India Regionals?

Is this true, we were earlier informed of separate preliminary rounds for each Amritapuri, Kanpur and Chennai Regions.

This is only shown in Kanpur Site Website and not in any other website.

Yeah I think so, Amritapuri RCD sent a mail just now with the prelims date as 22 Nov.

    so is that mean , instead of 3 prelims round , now we will have only 1 single prelim round, and there will be single regional round for all these three sites ??

        so there will be total of 3 different teams from one college going to different regionals or only 1 team going to all 3 regionals ?

          It is not mandatory to have the same team for each regional. It's just that single prelim will be judged for selection.

              1 team 1 regional. Same team will not be selected for more than 1 regional. That's how they filter.

                Okay , so the team is supposed fill the form and pay to all 3 regionals ? Because top performer team might select the regional for which our team had paid .

                  ya If you want your chances of being selected to any one region then yes u can. From each college only 1 team represent at each regional.

I don't understand why they keep these contests at random time slots instead of standard 8-10 P.M .
I have my College End-sems at that time and i don't want to miss them, as I will be giving ICPC anyways.

Once my teammate pertifiedcobra said regarding ICPC, "They want to test your problem solving skills, so they made registration the most problematic step".
