Probably the best blog about "rank X in Y days" ever.

This comment best explains ratism on codeforces.

Ratism is not an issue. There are many blogs from low rated users that I find interesting to read. But what reaction do you expect, when you see 20th blog about "Pupil in 100 days"?

Better start writing interesting and unique blogs, either fun to read or helpful.

Just... ignore them? They are not insulting anyone or trolling. They are productive blogs, and related to Codeforces too, so what's the problem? :) I get that maybe you think it is spam, and I agree people shouldn't be posting these everyday, maybe once a week or so, but I don't see a problem if you post it only once a week (which is what Norp (the first person recently to post these blogs) is doing currently).

But people actually ignore them. There are none (or almost none) comments from top users like "stop posting this garbage" or "go learn binary search" under these blogs.

As about me, I'm kinda annoyed by this spam (but silently). This spam is actually bad, because, for example, it displaces questions from beginners (many of them are kinda annoying too, because can be easily found on the internet, but some of them are normal), or educative blogs.

There are currently exactly zero such blogs in recent actions (which is the only place most people look at CF blogs), mainly because not many people interact with them, meanwhile many people interact with educative blogs or beginner questions, so they have a higher chance to stay in recent actions.

I think they are not being annoying on purpose, they just want to share and record their progress and goals. I would suggest them to join discord servers with people who have same goals or build their own blog. Codeforces is really not a place for things like that.

It's their fault — Norp was told to stop it but he didn't.

It's also Codeforces fault for using the word 'blog'.

Discord advice is really good though :)

Norp wasn't told to stop it, they were told to just reduce the frequency of blogs (which as far as I can see, they have done it).

I requested to stop it as it became annoying(recent actions were full of it), though a sweet and alternative suggestion was this, which I guess norp is following.

Still, it might be spam for a few people, which is their personal views and opinions.

Yes, it is their personal views and opinions. That doesn't mean that they should be making a bad joke about it. Also, because of the number of comments on this blog, I'm pretty certain that this remained in recent actions for more time than any rank X in Y days blog, so ironically, this blog is more guilty of the things said in the above comments than any of the other blogs

Before see this blog,I can't even believe that Western European athletes would work so hard to improve their computer competition skills. In fact, the intense competitive atmosphere in East Asia in this regard is spreading to the world. As a athlete, many pupiles(I mean students in primary schools and middle schools) don't go to school as others, they only study hard for computer competitions, because they hope to be admitted to top universities and only this can help them get a job that pays very well without family background. They are afraid of failure, that means thy must back to participate in a more intense college entrance examination, especially in densely populated areas.

A year and a year, more and more pupiles are desperately preparing for computer competitions, and part of them even get IGM and LGM before age 12.In that way,my level looks so low……

Then I see that people all around the world also work hard to increase their level,I have a new understanding of this.

Sorry,my English is terrible.

I'll point out that I'm not Western European in any reasonable definition of the word. I also already graduated, so being admitted to top universities is not relevant anymore.
