I'm a newbie at algorithms, but I'm capable of writing codes in C++ & Java. Do I have a chance to win the ACM ICPC 2016 title? Do I have the time to study and practice the knowledge needed?

one year is too short to win the world final of ACM -ICPC, it takes much longer to take the necessary level .
I think 1 year is enough to qualify to ACM ICPC Finals (especially if your region isn't strong), but 1 year isn't enough to win it
