I guess Codeforces is trying to make contests suitable for school students specifically just like Codechef does in Lunchtime. I maybe wrong.

I think in more contries this time is not suitable for school student. For example in our contri, Iran, this time is'nt better than past. Now i see the time of the contest in the all capitals and the time of the contest in most of them was before 15-16. If i'm not right please tell me.

In India it's 14:30 which is perfect for students. Otherwise it's 22:00 in which everyone can participate easily.

How is 12:00 o'clock suitable for school students? If you mean that they participate from school, then these are awesome schools they have. In my school they hate me when I mention anything about contests. If I ask them to let me go out of the last lesson (12:00 — 13:00) to participate they'd suspend me.

If they kick you out, you can participate, isn't that what you want? :D

People usually don't go to school on Sunday.

Anyway, if they hate you for competitive programming, maybe it's time to stop being a slave and find a school which would support you in it. (inb4 you can't: you can)

Yes, but some doesn't mean most. Some people sleep at some time of the day, does that mean there can't be any contests?

It's suitable for Vietnamese and SE-Asian people because it's about 4p.m in VietNam. Otherwise, guess what, It's 11.30 p.m in Vietnam and the contests always end at about 1.30 or 2 a.m . It's too late

Bur i think it's better that the time of contest be usual because more people can participent in it. What do you think about it?

According to this comment the unusual time of the next round is because that it is held in parallel with onsite competition.

In general I think that making some contests in unusual time is better than holding all contests in the same time because this gives a chance for more people who find the usual time not suitable.

Thank you so much for your answer. But why don't they hold the next round in another day (like friday ) in unusual time?

I think 19:30 MSK is a convenient time for most countries, don't change it frequently. In past contests, some problem setters changed the time for their own country --> very bad behavior.
