So this is the second year in a row that the Egyptian government doesn't allow any of the Palestinian teams to enter Egypt!!!

I'm not going to talk about the political side of this, but at least the ACPC coordinators should really consider this problem. I mean why the hell you keep doing it in Egypt when there are teams that can't enter it? Why not consider doing it in another country like Jordan for example, where every other Arab country participants can enter easily. Or, if needed, make it in two different locations in parallel like what happens in the ECPC.

Keeping it this way is really bad, the competition here won't develop much, and students won't be motivated as they know they can't participate in the ACPC which would qualify them for the ICPC.

    Actually Palestinian participants are not alone in this, as a Syrian team will also participate with only two contestants instead of three because the third one couldn't get a visa.

    This also happened to Syrian teams in 2012 when Jordan held the contest, two Syrian teams participated with only two contestants, one of the two teams got something like the 12th place of nearly 40 teams that time and was so near to qualify to ICPC!

    I'm really sorry for what's happening, hope it would be fixed somehow in the next years and to see you participating.

      Then do something about it. Those are empty words. And with the geopolitical standoff that's happening, the only way it'd get fixed is escalating into a situation in which a programming contest is the least of your worries.

      I'm aware that CF isn't a place for political discussion; tell that to politics (that's stuffing itself everywhere), though.
