Dear Friends, I have been practicing competitive coding for past 1 year..I have started to use codeForces. But i can merely solve 2-3 problems..I cannot pass all my testcase. My confidence level goes off due to this..Can any body give tips and guide me in coding..I love coding. So I seek for some one to help me and guide for 1 week.

Edit: Yeah you guys are right. killer7 probably shouldn't be posting this kind of thing if he hasn't even written a rated contest.

I ain't the best person to give advice ( you can see from my profile , doing for a while but didn't improve at all ) but what i read and heard from higher rated coder if you want to improve you should practice in a contest environment and always try to solve problems above your current level . How many problems do you solve it doesn't matter at all what matters most is how many hard problems do you solve and how many hours do you spend to think about those problems.

You registered in Codeforces 6 months ago but didn't participate in any rated contest . If you want to be good for doing well in ICPC or IOI type contest you should start participating rated contests . What you learn from this live contest environment ( way of thinking never be same when you are relax at your home and try to solve problems just for fun from real contest time thinking ) is worth above everything . Even if you aren't able to solve any problems . You definitely learn something new .

So my advice is start participating all live online contest ( there are so many now TC , CF , Codechef , Hackerrank , Hackerearth etc ) and do upsolving after the contest . best of luck :)
