And if you don't speak Russian, you can basically take part in none of the upcoming ones. Way to go in ignoring the rest of the world u.u

Edit: I thought "the official language is Russian" in the announcements meant that the problems were not translated, but apparently this is not true. Yay! :D

    Actually, it is not true. At least VK Cup and CROC Championship will be translated and you will be able to take part in rated manner (but unofficialy in a champ). Sure quals and unusual rounds will not be rated, but many coming rounds will be rated.

      Yeah, that's a shame. I wanted to take part too. Will qualification round 2 be translated at least or will the entire cup be only for Russian contestants?

        There's no reason to translate unrated contests (qualifications).

          Yeah, you're right. Though I didn't know they were unrated.

          But apparently Rounds 1-3 + Finals won't be translated either, and that is a shame for all non-Russian speakers.

            Which of the following statements by Mike suggested they wouldn't be translated to you?

            "At least VK Cup and CROC Championship will be translated and you will be able to take part in rated manner (but unofficialy in a champ)."

            "Rounds 1-3 and Finals will be rated. All of them will have open edition for global community"

            "I promise you a lot of interesting problems and fun from participation in unofficial (but rated!) editions of rounds."

              This comment confused me when he says " So I ask you to refrain from participation if your are non Russian-speaking ". But now that I think of it, he might have referred to the qualification rounds.

        You don't need Russian friends only — I'm from Bulgaria and since our language is also Slavic I understand(with little help from a dictionary) everything, although I can't say a word in Russian!
