I just registered for : Codeforces Round #574 (Div. 2) Interestingly it shows me as a participant out of contest. I comprehend that as one who won't be rated in the contest . I checked the registrants page other purple folks also have an asterisk symbol with their names (out of contest).
So is div 2 not going to be rated for >= 1900 people ?

The recent registrants do not have an asterisk attached with their names , the purple ones who registered early only have an asterisk attached with their handles . I think we should just unregister and register again to be officially in the contest.
Yeah, it is working now.
I think now if a contest is only for Div.2, then it is rated for the participants who have rating below 2100. In other words, CFers with purple names can get great rating changes!
