Here is some important information from official site.
- The contest will start at: 1700 PDT on August 8, 2013 (0000 UTC on August 9, 2013)
- The contest will end at: 1700 PDT on August 11, 2013 (0000 UTC August 12, 2013).
- You need to pre-register for the contest, 48 hours prior (extended from 72h) to the contest at the latest.
Don't forget to participate and have fun!
What kind of problems should we expect? Standart algorithmic problems or not?
No, AFAIK, problem in ICFPC is very unusual. You can read these posts (1, 2) (in Russian)

I found the registration process more than a bit cumbersome this year. I hope the problem itself won't require so much of filling the forms.
