Hello Codeforces!
The SchoolHacks team is excited to announce our three-day, online hackathon starting June 3rd (Friday evening) to June 5th (Sunday afternoon). Please sign up here for the event: form.
Any student 5-12th grade from anywhere can participate in the event. You can choose to build a solution to any problem. Your project will be submitted in the form of a 3-minute video demo which will be judged by a panel of experienced founders/venture capitalists. No programming experience is needed to participate and several prizes don't even require any code to win. You are all ready and we will have individuals available to help during the event. You can work on your project individually or in a team. We will help with facilitating team forming during the beginning of the event. Speakers/Judges to be announced soon (Spoiler: Key investors and founders from Silicon Valley).
The following prizes will be awarded:
- 1st place: $1000
- 2nd place: $750
- 3rd place: $500
- Best Design (no code required): $250
- Best Pitch (no code required): $250
- Honorable Mention: $100
- Honorable Mention: $100
