I've noticed that the blogs getting on the TOP tab on codeforces aren't necessarily the most upvoted ones.

I'm sure there exists a more complicated algorithm, but it seems to be based largely on the number of comments that a post has. This means that more controversial, stupid or someone started an argument in the comments posts which get people to comment will rise rapidly to the top.

What does the Codeforces community think about this? How would you change it?
