IOI Gold Medalist Speaker Event

Hey everyone!

ParagonX Academy (paragonx.academy) will be hosting a speaker event with Austin Geng (EmeraldBlock), who received a gold medal and ranked #17 in the 2023 International Olympiad in Informatics.

He'll be speaking about his journey throughout competitive programming, talking about what resources he used, how he advanced through each division of the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO), how he overcame challenges, and more! There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the event.

This event will take place on Saturday, November 4th from 12-1 PM PST, and it will be hosted virtually through Zoom. To register, please complete this Google Form. For more information regarding the speaker event, go to this webpage — www.paragonx.academy/speakers.

I have never seen ParagonX Academy before. How is it profitable for you to run such initiative if all the classes seem free?

    It's a volunteer ran nonprofit organization.

    In other words, the profit comes from the results of their university applications :thumbsup:
