Wow!

After two months of studying and 100 leetcode questions, I decided to come to try the real deal-codeforces. It was quite the experience!

I have become so dependent on the leetcode "run code" "show diff" options that I am not able to work without it :(

I solved question A by doing a complete dry run in my notebook and then moved forward

I tried a lot of edge cases but could not solve the wrong answer error in question B, it was so close :(

And finally, I moved onto C and there I managed to get a mathematical equation on paper ( adding 1/2 then 1/3 then 1/4 ... to avg temp) but could not figure out the loops terminating condition.

Overall I am very happy about this decision and cannot wait for the next contest!

Thanks for reading :D

    Thanks a lot!

(just a doubt — are we to refrain from posting about our experiences here? Asking because of the downvotes..)

Don't care about downvotes. A lot of people will downvote anything they see

Consider a case : If everyone started to write such blog regarding there experience then just think what codeforces will be filled with. Hope you understand what I meant to say why you get downvotes.

      No offence :)

I am seeing this blog as a positive effect of the new starting rating system. With the older system, posts like these potentially can be totally opposite.

Hey guys , I am sorry I had a question . I have recently registered in Codeforces . ( 2 weeks approximately ) and I think I am interested in programming so I like to continue as I am only 14 years old . I have only solved 23 questions and it is less than a month that I am taking classes. When do you think I can participate in the contests ?
