Hint: You have 3 sequences and are asked to remove the minimum subsequence of letters to make them the same. What classical problem is this similar to?
If you are still having trouble see this link: http://www.geeksforgeeks.org/dynamic-programming-set-3-longest-increasing-subsequence/ . You can make a simple modification to that algorithm for your problem. In addition, if you don't know what longest increasing sequence and knapsack and their solutions are, look into those as well.
