tourist Vs Petr

Codeforces Round #360 is gonna take place tomorrow...if tourist doesn't participate tomorrow and Petr manages to grab the 1st place again, there is a high possibility that Petr will become #1 at CF..as i far as i remember tourist is #1 for the past 2 and a half years since i joined CF (i don't have any idea before that)..will this happen tomorrow??? what do you guys think about this??!!

      If we know the formula for rating calculation, and we consider some possibilities like the possible rank differences and points differences between them in the contest, it would be interesting to see the stats :)

      Of course, we must wait to see if both of them register for the contest :P

This will happen anyway, since tourist nearly stopped participating in regular no-prizegiving CF rounds.

        Nobody told me. I just think he has, because he only participated in 4 or 5 regular div1 rounds past 1.5 years, while there were over 60 of them, and he didn't miss a single "special" one.

its the first time someone came too close in ratings to tourist.. i guess he hasnt opened his account for a while.. the moment he comes online he will recreate the difference.. :D

    I'm also curious about that :). I was looking at the contests results and apparently: vepifanov was the top ranked after the first and second contest, then Petr takes the lead and after some contests tourist takes the lead, then Petr recover the first place and finally tourist claims the first place.

Tourist has registered but Petr doesn't seem to have registered yet. I guess Tourist saw that his first place spot was being challenged and came to compete. Hopefully Petr registers in time as well.

Last time tourist got on second place at CROC he got -48 in rating. Toady he is on second place again and 30 minus points is enough for getting petr #1 at codeforces. (let's just wait for the rating changes :D)

I think tourist's points will decrease today but i think this is not permanent.
