Do they stand cancelled for ever or they will get back to u next year ?

Just downvoting doesn't serve the purpose of asking question (-7), you can just answer yes or no

      Yes or no.

Seriously, it depends on the specific position and especially on how much of a rigid corporate culture the company has (I gathered that Google, for example, has one even though a lot of people might not think so). If it's a hypothetical question, it doesn't matter, and if it isn't, the best advice is to ask them directly. Companies have people working from home too, which is risky with a new intern.

The position was for sde internship, i was hesitating to ask them directly and the question wasn't a hypothetical one. Somewhat happy to see Nickolas comment
